Your Say

She was so young here. I kind of prefer her Norma Jean photos. She still possessed a wholesome girl-next-door essense. You can sense it even here in a nude shot. How she still manages to eclipse every other specimen is quite something. I was watching clips of Gents prefer Blondes with Jane Russell, who was also stunning. Russell held her own next to Monroe, as only she could. But Monroe is 100% ethereal...even in the comedies. Phenomenal. I can't think of any other actress, entertainer, celeb, model who has had that kind of supernatural beauty, before or since. Some actresses were bombshells, but Monroe (or should I say Norma Jean) definitely deserves to the title of Gold Standard.

Essence, that is.. perhaps Sofia Loren came close. I don't have a man's eye so I'm sure my criterion is different.

Man, I could reflect that all day.

As a soiled senior citizen and an artist, I feel qualified to give professional evaluation.

She would be impossible in the 21st century. They would take one look at her and tell her she was fat and disgusting. Check the lower abdomen on her. No six pack. Unacceptable.

O tempora, O mores

This woman always made me question if I wanted to change teams.
