You can’t make this up.

"Half of Detroit’s public schools are shutting down, Libya’s burning, and the White House is holding an homage to Motown tonight. And Harry Reid calling on Republicans to “join us” in creating jobs." -- Dan @ POWIP

Somehow, I am reminded of Pat Boone's version of "Tutti Fruity".

I think all public schools should shut down. Force lousy parents to homeschool. That will teach liberal parents to use birth control (since abortions will no longer be funded by taxes in my perfect scenario) and not to expect states to pay for them if they do choose to have them, especially if public union teachers behave the way they have in Madison. The weight of union greed is finally crushing the entitlement roofs to the point of collapse. Shocker! Economics 101: Money doesn't grow on trees!

When I read your post about the Motown get-together, all I can think of is "Party on, Garth!" That's the mentality, isn't it?

It's past time. Impeach. Now.
