"A choice, not an echo: Democrats desperately defending the status quo; Republicans charging the barricades."

The Rubicon of Wisconsin - Charles Krauthammer - National Review Online
In the private sector, the capitalist knows that when he negotiates with the union, if he gives away the store, he loses his shirt. In the public sector, the politicians who approve any deal have none of their own money at stake. On the contrary, the more favorably they dispose of union demands, the more likely they are to be the beneficiary of union largesse in the next election. It’s the perfect cozy setup.

Your Say

Using frothing, snarling collective greed to bring down the very spirit of individuality. What happens when the predacious pack of Leftist hyenas finds itself out of prey? Or worse.. out-numbered, out-powered and out-thought? This gang of Leftists may be dangerous, but they aren't very bright, nor are their minions. And even if they are backed by the academic elites, what are they going to do... throw granola at us? Seriously, I'm bored with this "change" thing. I'm starting to think it's just talk.. they didn't expect us to vote them out, let alone repeal Obamacare and balance state budgets. This pathetic tactic proves it. Shameless, pathetic Democrats. We called their bluff and they ran for the border.
