Why the American left hates the American Constitution

Word Around the Net: ANTI-FOUNDER
For the left, the problem is what these men stood for, believed in, fought for, died for, and achieved is beginning to clash more and more with what the left wants to achieve. Their ideals and the constitution they wrote keeps getting in the way of the left's goals and ideals. I have waited for the left to start to turn on the founders because of this, but its taken a long time because frankly people weren't studying exactly what they taught and why for a long time.

The Left has a problem with the word "NO!"

From the beginning, the Constitution has been ignored when it was inconvenient. John Adams and Thomas Jefferson rode roughshod over it. As a practical matter, the written document has been mostly irrelevant since the presidency of Abraham Lincoln. Lip service was paid to it until fairly recently, but the Federal establishment doesn't even bother much anymore.

The American Left may hate the Constitution, but it doesn't have to worry about it. The Battle for the Constitution was fought and lost decades ago.
