Thought I'd pass this along. It works out to 316 pieces of music: 24 Hours of Classical Music – The Perfect Start to Your Collection on iTunes As one reviewer notes, "316 classical tracks for $10??? That's pretty much 'buy one album', get 30 free."

That is a bargain. And the songs are varied sufficiently, too, from Baroque and Before to Impressionistic. I once made the mistake of buying all of Chopin's Waltzes on one disc. Big mistake. Everything was in jerky, Lippizaner Waltz time, and pretty soon, not long into the dance, the songs began to all sound the same. I could only get through it once before I understood why it is better to have just a few of Chopin's anything on a compilation CD.
