An email correspondent opines:
Let me get this straight……
We've passed a health care plan written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn’t understand it,.
It was passed by a Congress that hadn’t read it but exempted themselves from it.
It was signed by a president that also hadn’t read it and who smokes.
The funding is administered by a treasury chief who didn’t pay his taxes.
It is all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that’s broke.
What the hell could possibly go wrong?

OT, by way of tribute to Meathead, who's back on the spotlight with his Tea Party remarks.
I admire a person who's true to the character he played. If you remember, Meathead got into a spat with Lionel (the half-black, half-white character, reviled by Archie and Jefferson alike) because Lionel told him to stop talking about the problems blacks face.
So Meathead sez to him, outraged: "What do you want me to talk about, the weather?!"
Lionel replies: "Why not? Blacks have weather too!"
If there was ever a description of the problem with libs, I've yet to see it. The libs are as racist as can be, even more than the Archie Bunkers of the world, because of their paternalistic attitude, the low expectations they have of non-whites, all cloaked in sympathy and understanding. They're like totally incapable of seeing non-whites as ordinary, capable people. "Blacks have weather too", The lib's stumbling-block.
Meathead is the libwit personified. Every single one of 'em.
