File Under: Major Missed Opportunities of History. If Only He'd Been More Decisive as a "Young Adult"

In which the Mush from the Wimp gets as thick as solidified oatmeal:

President Obama: It Gets Better | The White House "This is personal to me. When I was a young adult, I faced the jokes and taunting that too many of our youth face today, and I considered suicide as a way out. But I was fortunate. One of my co-workers recognized that I was hurting, and I soon confided in her. She cared enough to push me to seek help. She saved my life. I will always be grateful for her compassion and support – the same compassion and support that so many kids need today."

Damn. And we wouldn't have to worry about Bidden, either.

If someone had bothered to tell him how miraculous his birth was he never would have entertained suicide.

As long as he maintains his determination to commit political suicide by persisting with his crapto-Marxist agenda (no longer crypto - his cover has been blown) then the world may eventually recover from America's biggest mistake - ever! Provided, of course, that there is a concomitant acknowledgement of the looming threat from Islam.

Hand him a fork, a knife is too dangerous for him to handle.

What?
As an adult he was facing these taunts and was so despairing he was going to kill himself?

And he has the codes.

Ummmm.

Wait, I'm confused. I read this as a post by an adult gay male who had been in despair at cruel taunts by homophobic peers when young. That is the point of the It Gets Better project isn't it? Oh, my mistake, it's our supposedly oh- so -virile Jefe confiding in the whole world. I'm confused. Is he saying that he thought he was gY but now he isn't so he's happy? Or that he used to be suicidal and now he's completely stable? Or just that he had a few really

A few really, really bad years when some bad influences gave him bad cigarettes and things were blurry but he can see clearly now! If I were a confused and troubled kid, I think this would seem patronizing or at best confusing. What is he saying, exactly?

Vermont Woodchuck: Forks can cause grave damage too. What about plastic utensils?

Posted by: Cilla Mitchell, Galveston Texas at October 26, 2010 2:23 PM

Cilla, the fork works biblically. "If thine eye offends thee pluck it out." Matthew 18:9

Recycle the plastic if you like.

Why can't he talk about his choice of underwear instead, or something.

The man has too much Metro is his Sexual.

Mr. Woodchuck: Strange, I would never have connected that. But then again, some of us do not read the Bible. Then again, maybe some of us should.

I'm confused. Is the wOn coming out of the closet????

Posted by: Hangtown Bob at October 26, 2010 3:43 PM

Don't look to me for Bible reading. this is stuff left over from general reading over broad subjects.
The quote I knew, I looked up the chapter and verse. Just in case I ran into a hard core thumper.
