If you want the Republicans to be more than Democrat Lite then you have to remove certain parts of the establishment. And she is doing that.

*In Re: McCain. He brought her to the dance, so she has to dance with him. That's the way it goes. You don't want to get the reputation of cheating those who have done you favors.

True, but his motivations were anything but altruistic. No RINO would run with a Palin
except in the last extremity.

It wasn't about him, Robert. Her actions were about her. Part of her power is the image she projects of being honest, of not being a double-dealer, not being a cheater, of being cheerful when slandered and not indulging in pettiness. The honor thing. The "If" thing.

If she did not endorse Sen. McCain's re-election, it would have damaged that image, and that image is her greatest strength. Trust me, her foes are looking for ways to damage that, trying to find some dirt and have so far been unsuccessful.
