"Republicans, our leader is alive and living in Wasilla, Alaska."

The Left sensed from Day One that Sarah Palin is the biggest threat to their stealth socialism.

This was why they targeted her early and made it hip to knock her. This is proving to be their biggest mistake as she bounces off the canvas and hits back. Harder. The Left just made her the biggest underdog in American political history. Sarah Palin should thank Tina Fey because in the long run, Sarah Palin is getting the last laugh. The Left cannot refudiate her with ridicule because the American people see snark for what it is. -- Arianna gets it ォ Don Surber

Your Say

Behind closed doors, I don't think Arianna's viewpoint is that much out of step with that of other liberals.

They have always dealt the same way with their opponents during elections, very much the same way conservatives deal with enemies in matters of foreign policy when they happen to be in charge. The whole failure-is-not-an-option thing. Yes, if failure is not an option, you have to respect your opposite as Patton respected Rommel. It's a must.

Liberals are not showing us what they truly think about Sarah Palin when they snicker at her. It's all an act. But you already knew that.

To me, the ironic thing is that Sarah is proving to be a more potent force outside of political office than she was as Governor of Alaska.

I would gladly get behind Palin for President, but I'm equally pleased to support Sarah the Kingmaker.

I disagree that Sarah "bounces off the canvas and hits back" when the Left attacks.

The truth is that the Left never succeeds in even putting a glove on her. They punch, jab, and flail and each time Sarah parries...counter punching twice as hard.

When they least expect it, Sarah delivers swift upper cut to the jaw which leaves the opposition both surprised by its' arrival and stunned by its' effectiveness.

The political landscape is littered with the dry brittle bones of those who have underestimated Sarah Palin.

She is the one we have been waiting for.

She's the man for the job in 2012. They've said overplayed their hand at attacking her.. there is nothing else they can say or do to insult her. Once they chose to degrade her children, they were done. The mamma grizzly thing is not just a marketing tool. It's a force. When the Left attacks her, they attack all mammma grizzlies. The beauty of it is she doesn't even need to become president to be effective.

Red Carolina nailed it.

Thought exercise: With all the potential timelines stretched out before us, fanning out in their disparate directions forward...what is the very lowest profile in which one can expect to find the name "Sarah Palin" in high school history textbooks one century from now?

She will occupy, at the very least, a massive gray sidebar on the page that describes our chapter. She will be at least as prominent then as Ulysses S. Grant is today.

Now is everyone starting to understand why she left the Governorship early. Nothing to grab, no handholds, like docked ears and tails of dobermans and pit bulls.
