Writing advice from my spambots

Verbatim from the comments: "Your writing could use some enhancement to much better drive house your points, however the tone of the arguments is right on. I speak from experiences since the nonprofit I work for runs an yearly little company competitors, and what most of our applicant have in typical is that they've figured out individuals practices that assist them contiually outperforms their competitors, who usually are biggers."

That's awesome.

We can all use an editor, all of the time, except when we can manage just as well without one, which is none of the time.

I notice over the years if I really do want some criticism, all I need to do is make a point someone will find disagreeable. My writing will suddenly suck a whole lot. But if people like my conclusions, suddenly my selection of nouns & verbs is perfect in every single way, never mind what dreadfully low marks I'd give myself. Nobody will say such a thing of course; but it seems the people ready to insist "You need an editor pronto!" generally insist upon that only when they disagree with what's being said.

I can't count the number of times someone's said "I'm not clear on what you're trying to say here" and I get this sneaking suspicion that, with the sentence in question, what I'm trying to say is crystal clear and that's the problem.
