Have you ever found a secret room in your (or anyone else's) house?

It seems that many people have.

"I had a friend buy a three story house to chop up into apartments. The basement apartment had a boarded up wall that didn't fit the rest of the original building. Once she ripped the boards down there was a 40 foot hallway that snaked to a bomb shelter. The shelter was almost empty but it had a window in the bottom of a backyard fish pond." -- An endless but fascinating thread @ : AskReddit

Your Say

That is one hell of a comment thread. I've been reading the wrong blogs.

Interestingly, I used to live in an old three-story house that had been subdivided into apartments. I frequently had dreams about finding hidden rooms, but I'm pretty sure there weren't any.
