Does Obama ask himself the following question:

"If bowing is a sign of respect, why don't these leaders bow to me?" -- Le-gal In-sur-rec-tion

Your Say

The answer is simple, really. If they bow to him they would be showing respect to him, and by extrapolation, to the United States of America as their superior.

That isn't to be done amongst nations that are equally entitled to respect. Head of State to Head of State, the President of the United States of America stands at the same level as a Captain Regent of San Marino.

Supplicants bow; inferiors bow. Heads of state of equal nations do not bow to another head of state.

Obama bows.

I like your analogy Mikey, but am wondering at what point in time in his thoughts does America's President deserve to stand as equal, or other nations bow to him? I am guessing it will be when we are most like the nations he bows to, not the ones we've stood shoulder to shoulder to in the past.

Obama does not need to ask questions of himself or have introspection. Remember, as the press told us, God speaks through the One. He is omniscient, infallible and the most intelligent being to have ever walked the planet. He was the One that we were waiting for.
