Why The Mandate Will Never Happen...
Obamacare incentivizes non-coverage by imposing employer fines for non-coverage that are far less than the cost of offering health insurance, there's an excellent chance (in this economy of roughly 17%-18% actual unemployment) that companies will be dropping health benefits rather than adding them. Employers can afford to; they have highly skilled workers waiting in line to beg for a job with or without health insurance. Now ask yourself this question: If you were a Congressional Democrat, do you really think Mom and Dad and Little Billy and Katelyn are going to thank you for the job you've done once they realize you have decided they aren't going have vacations and college funds and retirement savings because you have decided their freedom to choose how they spend their money isn't important enough for you to honor? Ignore the above at your own risk, Democrats. I've been dealing with people and their money on a professional basis for over 25 years. The fastest way to enrage the average American is to try to force them to reduce their standard of living. People will lie, cheat, steal, and kill to continue to live in the manner to which they are accustomed. That's just the way it is. And that is the fatal flaw in The Plan... I agree. After the last few years of housing foreclosures, bankruptcies, bailouts, the American way seems to be spending more than you make. If you are going to do that, why not get a nice car, house, clothes or that lifetime dream vacation, after all, according to Disneyworld not only your kids, but you deserve it.
The more you make, the more you spend. Those making a lot are just at a different level of poor.
This law assumes people will now be responsible and manage money well.

I am seriously pondering laying off 6 of my employees and outsourcing their jobs to part-timers and 1099 subcontractors....I think you will see a lot of this...
