The Future of Education

sian.jpg

i'm sian, i'm 19, i'm from brighton.
hello i've got desperate desires and unadmirable plans, my tongue will taste of gin and malicious intent. i really quite like jesse lacey, tea, patterned tights and boys with nose rings. i'm a huge clutz and a massive drama queen and i always get sick in the road when i'm drunk, but don't worry i do it between cars so nobody can see me. i'm also fond of charity shops, junk food, leggings, pink lipstick, dimples, cheekbones, new shoes, roast dinners and clavicles. i am training to be a primary school teacher and all i ever think about is food and clothes. -- Sian

Excuse me, but can I hear those arguments against homeschooling once more?

Your Say

Future porn star...not that there's anything wrong with that...

I believe that Miss Sian is a subject of the Crown, so the point doesn't really work if one is discussing American education. Still, it's interesting to see that Old Blighty produces air-headed douchebagettes that are virtually indistinguishable from our own variety.

Limey or not, it is a window into our very near future.

What is the problem here? Girl writes in complete sentences with four-syllable words. She may be an airhead, but she's an educated airhead.

Yes, Sian is a silly girl. But I'm disinclined to be too tough on her for two reasons: One, I was 19 once, too. And a fraternity undergrad, yet. Two...she's cute. If that's her on the second page, she's got heartstoppingly pretty eyes.

I wonder, though, if she even knows what a "clavicle" is.
