Shoot the Moon
NASA's plans to return astronauts to the moon are dead. So are the rockets being designed to take them there, if President Obama gets his way.

Who needs all that egg-head science stuff when we can spend money on social programs and community organization to mobilize new voters. Think of all the midnight basketball games that can be funded for the price of some stupid rocket. And green energy! Think how many new windmills we can build! We can halt global warming, and restore the Himalayan glaciers. Priorities, man. It's the priorities.

Yeah! What's returning to the moon mean on a list of accomplishments which includes insuring 30 million Americans for an additional trillion dollars a year?? Ya' gotta dream BIG, man!

Obama is becoming more and more his real self as time rolls on. What he is rumored to want to do with NASA is what his worst detractors expected of him. They are prophets, and the rest are fools.

I have friends that work at ATK, the last of the rocket propulsion companies in the US. They tell me that we will lose our world leadership in this technology.
I'm sure if he ever really wants it, Obammy could bow and get the Dong from Lil Kim.
