Bush is Back: Tanned, Rested, and Ready

"I face the world as it is, and cannot stand idle in the face of threats to the American people.

For make no mistake: evil does exist in the world," he said. "A non-violent movement could not have halted Hitler'€™s armies. Negotiations cannot convince al Qaeda'€™s leaders to lay down their arms. To say that force is sometimes necessary is not a call to cynicism -- it is a recognition of history; the imperfections of man and the limits of reason."€ -- iOwnTheWorld.com

Your Say

It is a rare alignment of dextrosphere and MSM that is praising Obama's speech. Except that the dextrosphere is praising it because they read a couple of sentences about Obama's conceptual breakthrough called "evil", and were willing to ignore the standard America-apologizing and Bush-slagging in the rest; while the MSM correctly read the signal that those couple of sentences needed to be hyped for the natives, who are getting a bit surly and restless.

My fear is that this new bellicosity signals an impending war to bail us out of our economic troubles. After all, it worked for FDR.

CBDenver,

Yeah, I guess it "worked" for FDR. Too bad it didn't work out so good for Hitler, Mussolini, and Tojo, huh?

Look in the mirror and you'll see an idiot staring back at you.
