Al Sharpton Blasts Tiger Woods for Lack of Mistress Diversity
“Why is it that a man who calls himself black can’t bring himself to cheat on his wife with a black woman?”
Sharpton, who has long championed taking black women as mistresses, said that today’s black athletes need to stop neglecting black women when it comes to extramarital affairs, and should follow the examples of positive black role models such as Jesse Jackson and Martin Luther King, Jr., both of whom cheated on their wives with black women. Sharpton also stressed that cheating with African-American women would help the black community financially by giving black girls the chance to sell their stories to tabloids and gossip magazines. -- Celeb Jihad

Whoa, I thought I was reading The Onion there for a minute. As they say, you can't make this stuff up. Sharpton is definitely one of those guys who's long since passed his "use by" date. This is just further confirmation, as if any were needed.

A similar conundrum hit the pasty boys and the race-baiters in the Duke no-rape case when buried federal rape statistics showed that white men never rape black women. The usual suspects wanted so badly to scream in outrage, but just managed to remain under control.
It is not always easy being a leftist.

Weellllll . . . . A little context? First off, don't say never in the current tense. Didn't yoou mean that this is an infrequent occurrence? Secondly, raping black women was a perverse pastime in the Old South.

I don't recall that Woods ever called himself a 'black man.' There is a widely-circulated quote attributed to him where he called himself a "Cablinasian," because of his three-way racial ancestry.
It is Sharpton and other race-baiters (of which Reverend Al is the Master Baiter) who have appropriated Tiger Woods as exclusively 'one of theirs.'
Plese note that Sharpton is most definitely of mixed race himself.

james, no need to get into a snit. NEVER is not possible, period, OK? As for 150 years ago, while I wasn't around back then, I actually DO know something about the period.

While this speech supposedly by Sharpton is actually a satire, it's sad how easy it is to imagine him saying something so stupid and offensive.

Crazy, isn't it? The lifestyles the famous live. Though I've thought many time how difficult it must be to not have any privacy and always have people and photographers everywhere... always in your face. Guess it's one of things where you can't have your cake and eat it too. I think I would much rather have riches and skip the fame part,
