Your Say

Wonderful movie. I'm dreading the inevitable remake which will, no doubt, suck ass.

Freddie Young and David Lean are obviously incompetent boobs: Why would they put the stars in shade for this important scene and not light them? Do they think silhouettes are more dramatic than two people awash with the better-than-real light from a pair of 10k Arris shooting thru a scrim? Who taught them how to light a scene?

And the camera just *sits* there and doesn't shake! How are we to know that something important is happening if the camera doesn't shake?

And what's with that big, dark post splitting the scene in two? What's that supposed to be?

This would have been SO much better if they just shot it on a green screen and CGI'd in all the background stuff later.

Oh, and the whole film doesn't have one hot young starlet who gets her clothes ripped off. What kid of dumb movie is this?

Had me a little worried there, Kevin.

I love this movie and that scene, and of course the well scene in the beginning and oh! when he's whirling around in his new desert duds . . .

Have to watch this again, soon.
