Breitbart's Next Shoe. Place Your Bets.

Speculation is rife about what Biggovernment.com has loaded in the other barrell after Andrew Breitbart's cryptic announcement in Michael Savage Interviews Andrew Breitbart on ACORN Investigation September 18, 2009

"I also promise a blockbuster next week that's going to come from left field."

"That's about ACORN of course."

"No, I didn't say that."

Some people at Hot Air think it means, "Everybody repeat after me: PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN"

Ace thinks "this September 7th column tipped his hand," and maybe it did: BREITBART: Couric should look in mirror

Patterico reads the column and is putting his money down on the NEA "If I were a betting man, I'd be betting big that the upcoming bombshell will relate to the NEA."

Hummm.... well, since any number can play, I read the column and note the statement:
When the next big scandal hits - and it will, and it most certainly won't come from traditional journalism - all eyes will be on "Pinch" Sulzberger to see if he does his job.

Let's look at that again with emphasis added:
When the next big scandal hits - and it will, and it most certainly won't come from traditional journalism - all eyes will be on "Pinch" Sulzberger to see if he does his job.

So my money's on Pinch or somebody that works for him. Preferably Pinch. We'll see. If I'm right, I'll be coming back here for a victory lap. If I'm wrong I'll do what all responsible bloggers do and just bury it down the scroll.

UPDATE: It seems "The Purple Avenger" at Ace is with me.
The mention of Pinchy boy specifically, rather than the more generic NYT has to be significant. Pinchy's "job" is basically executive level hiring and firing.

We're gonna clean up!

Your Say

I thought Pinch's job was providing cover for the Left - the leader of which is now our CIC. No predictions here, just saying it could still relate to the administration.

I'm happy to have the truth out about ANY of these people.

Well, you could take him even more literally and think he's going to 'out' Johnny Damon. OK, maybe that's a little too literal...

It's the NEA.

Maybe Pinch will get swept up in it too somehow but it's definitely the NEA.

Rats. Oh well, I'll get a winner some day.
