Andrew Sullivan's Bong Hits Keep Heightening Accumulating

The "Everybody Does It" Defense:
Blogging feverishly to drive his justice-rigging dope bust off his own front page, Andrew Sullivan's moved on to items that count current marijuana busts. Noting, entirely without a smidgen of whiff of irony, "The contradictions keep heightening." (I note for the record that normally "contradictions accumulate" -- except of course when you're blogging high.

He certainly has a point. But let us not leave out Iran's enemy from the long war, Iraq. We must see if Egypt and Saudi Arabia are on board for Andrew's bong hit as well.
Here's my bong hit: give all the Arab states nukes, and the Israelis a two week all expenses paid vacation on the French Riviera.

Nothing so sad as an aging stoner (if he only knew what my kids think of them). Most of us sowed wild oats in youth, but our kids ferociously remind us that it's time to grow up. Set aside childish things. And stop making excuses. I always liked Luther's idea of sin boldly, that grace may abound. No room there for whinging about "but everybody else is doing it, Mom..."
