Achtung! Do you know this girl? Report her to the White House. -- Perfunction

And remember, kids, Obama's dissident database could be secret -- and permanent.

Note: August 4th was the 65th anniversary of the betrayal of Anne Frank
On the morning of 4 August 1944, the Achterhuis was stormed by the German Security Police (Grüne Polizei) following a tip-off from an informer who was never identified.[32]

Your Say

Wow, you and Perfunction totally missed the point. It's not about "informing" on fellow citizens. The White House wants to find out about what sorts of rumors (lies) are being propagated (e.g., health reform will lead to euthanasia), so they can be prepared to counter them.

Also, as a relative of Holocaust victims, I'm especially sickened by your use of Anne Frank—one more victim of the extreme right.

The fevered imagination that came up with this little atrocity must have thought it was really witty - and people who post it probably can't imagine how disgusted most of the rest of us are growing when we have to witness your crassness and dishonesty. Only really stupid people would fall for a campaign like this, and they're already mostly on your side - FAIL!

Pot shining kettle to a mirror surface.

As to the illo (and I'll put this in the post too): "On the morning of 4 August 1944, the Achterhuis was stormed by the German Security Police (Grüne Polizei) following a tip-off from an informer who was never identified"

I think both comments miss the point on how exactly data collection works. emails are collected as well as IP points of origin as well as content of email.

To assume that this is forever benign is foolish. And besides, exactly how does one "inform" the White House without specifics? Does one say that nobody said the following at nowhere at no time?

Also the contention that the White House just wants to find out "what sorts of rumors (lies) are being propagated" is just so much arrant nonsense. The White House knows very well indeed what the mass of people are saying. It just doesn't like them. Well, tough shit.

The National SOCIALIST Party was not "right-wing" in the sense you mean, i.e. it was not conservative. It was extremely Progressive and, like today's left, was engaged in a cultural, political, economic, and moral revolution. It's chief enemies: bourgeois constitutional democracy, free market capitalism, and Judeo-Christian ethics. (Do those enemies sound familiar to you, my dear leftist?)

Of course, the Nazis DID have universal health care under the control of state commissions.

how sickening that you use the death of my relatives in the holocaust to advance your stupidity.

in the real world, the bush administration tapped millions of phone conversations: i'm sure you protested, you sick thugs.

I don't think Mr. "Litwak" really has understood the deeper meaning of the Holocaust or betrayal.

Deep down, I have to agree.

Humm, It would seem that various people have confused me with "Congress" in that famous phrase:

"Congress shall make no law respecting.... "

The text at the link should clear it up for those folks. Pay attention. There will be a quiz.

It's simple really: Hitler and the Nazi's were staunch anti-Semites, and they saw socialism as a Jewish plot. They understood the value as propaganda, and weren't interested in "social welfare" beyond it's value to create money for the State. Hitler was a vehement hater of the working class urban based folk who made up the bulk of the "socialist class" in Germany at that time.

Hitler's dislike of socialism, and it's connection to "the Jewish problem" is well documented in his speeches, and very much so in Mein Kompf, for starters.

Relax, gentlemen, none of your comments have been "deleted." They have been sent away for re-education and in time shall return the better and the wiser for it.

I agree. Indeed if it wasn't for double standards the left would have no standards at all.

Screw you for changing my comment, Vanderloon. Deep down, I have to ask if you have any ethics at all. Signs point to Yes.... Yes! YES!.

Again, please again. I beg you!

Posted by: SJohn at August 7, 2009 6:52 PM

The Nazi's were big proponents of liberal democracy and broad suffrage and rights for minorities and stuff like that.

And that's why the KKK is really a bunch of libs, and why Hitler right off killed all the Socialists and then outlawed labor unions.

Same thing.

Well, of course, it was right-wing, just like they'd imagine and you'd agree too, if you'd read Hitler's book.

Not only is he against the "Jewish press", and "communism", he loudly proclaims his approval of "The Protocols Of The Wise Men Of Zion" (the "Elders Of Zion", which we know it by)but he naturally finds nothing is wrong with Christian religion as long as its a "state" religon, and keeps to itself (meaning it supports his view of the "state".)

He doesn't go against "capitalism" and he goes again non-Germanic capitalisn, but he's pefectly fine with "capitalism".

And his disdain of democracy puts him in a strange place... Since it's true. Which would, presumably, make him on the same side as the Communists... And yet he's stridently against them.

Nice try.

So, Marlena, how come it was the Communists and Socialists who were rounded up for the concentration camps?

Posted by: SqueakyRat at August 9, 2009 12:44 AM

I came here prepared to dislike this, but I have to say it is the most enlightening thing I've seen in weeks.

I regret that I ever voted for that phony Obama and promise to redeem myself in due time.

I had a lot to say that I squeezed out of my very little learning, but on reflection I decided to keep my cliched claptrap to myself. Just this once.
