For Those Of You Who Do Not Have Twitter

@ andrewbreitbart Andrew Breitbart's Twitterstream on the death of Ted Kennedy:
"Rest in Chappaquiddick/ Kennedy laid groundwork for legitimizing media-killing of conservatives. What he did to destroy Thomas & Bork is unforgivable. Mary Jo, too./ For whom did Sen. Kennedy show compassion? Bork? Thomas? The Kopechnes? Please, this is not about politics. This is about decency./ Pretending to care about poor & downtrodden (while institutionally using ill-gotten power to destroy them) is not a legacy to be proud of./ I'm more than willing to go off decorum to ensure THIS MAN is not beatified. Sorry, he destroyed lives. And he knew it./ .... This duplicitous bastard spit on GWB's face when he reached across party lines. Twas a grade school trick. Even til the end, he was a prick./ In this moment I can't but recognize absolute backwardness of media & society. Bush=EVIL. Ted Kennedy=SAINT." -- via iOwnTheWorld.com

Your Say

I grew up in the UK thinking you all adored this terrorist supporting cowardly womanising prick. It's refreshing to learn that this was not the case for all Americans. Maybe the blogosphere ain't so bad after all. RIP Mary Jo.

For Allison, at least half of Americans have felt about Ted Kennedy the way the other half feels about Richard Nixon. Until the internet came along it was almost impossible to know what the Kennedy-hating half thought because the Kennedy-loving half controlled all major media, schools, etc.

For Alison, allow me to enlighten you. Half of American citizens with brain cells did not care for the Kennedys and still do not. The others are afraid to state their true feelings because they are cowards and do not want the public to know their true feelings because of our politically incorrect world we live in. Our education system in the United States and media created the Kennedy myth.

Cilla - an update.

Many Americans do not care about Ted Kennedy or any other Kennedy. The only time they get much media mention is (1) when they die; or (2) when they get arrested.

They - like Ted - have become punchlines. Example: "Sen. Kennedy died after battling brain cancer. Imagine that - his liver outlived his brain."

Or:

"Signs of the Apocalypse: A male Kennedy dies of natural causes."
