Facade:
The great man had the other great men in his pocket. He could call out the guard on a whim. He could kill a man legal. He could kill him any which way. He could do what he pleased. He could live in the shadow of a boneyard in a palace and there were none dared to squeak. The men said we'll vote and stick together, and the great man just put one more man in charge of them, the new black prince of the county with the thing with the letters behind him. It was organized, but not like you'd think. Things would go on behind a velvet curtain. If they drew it back you'd see the smirk of the hyena in there. -- Sippican Cottage: Coal Breaker

Your Say

If you look at the relationship the United States has with its Asia-Pacific nhbiegors, the Philippines is the strongest and is a deep one, sharing common democratic principles, religion, history, and close family ties with this former US Commonwealth. You cannot find this unique relationship of the US with the rest of Asia, there is simply none other than the Philippines. In terms of military, the US has a responsibility and obligation to equip them with modern military hardware if it wishes to maintain and further its interests in the Asia-Pacific region. To counter China's irresponsible behavior means strengthening the military capability of the Philippines. It's is a very strategic place for the US to launch an offensive if, God forbid, there is a shooting war with China.
