Global Warming Is Seared, Seared, into Seattle's Memory!

siberiaseattle.jpg

You'd think the ecologicalnutter hordes of Seattle could not possibly spin this, but I'm sure they'll find a way:

Seattle just experienced the coldest first week of June, according to climate records dating to 1891, said Cliff Mass, University of Washington meteorologist. Both 1999 and 2008 share the record, with 1917 falling in second place, he said. "Just wait until tomorrow," he said, when temperatures are going to be even colder. -- Local News | Snow forecast for mountains tonight | Seattle Times Newspaper

We just got back from the torrential downpour in Puget Sound to visit the dry side on a preliminary real estate reconnaissance. By the time we got to Lewiston, Idaho the sun was shining. It's Providential, I tell ya.

Maybe someday I will be able to construct a cogent and grammatically correct sentence. Nah.

Darn! I was so looking forward to those artificial volcano thingies touted in Popular Mechanics where unmedicated scientists want to pump sulfur into the stratosphere to induce global cooling. But with Seattle's refusal to cooperate, and the sun refusing to break out in blemishes, sigh . . .

A perfect example of Newtonian physics affecting the normal gravitational properties of the apple. Global warming expanded the lighter than air gasses in the apple, precluding Mr. Hanson of NASA from having any pie. See?
