Seattle Teaparty Turnout is Around 500

Just back from downtown Seattle Teaparty. I put attendance at around 500 people. To get this number I did a grid count from several perspectives around the crowd and spoke to the head SPD officer on scene who gave me the same estimate, "This place will hold a grand crowded and it's not crowded."

Tea party turnout---tepid? Not so in Tennessee and Texas....truly thrilling...

We got between 3,000 - 4,000 down here in Jacksonville.

The press spin on this movement is clueless, because most reporters and editors truly have no idea what this is about. They really believe this is all about taxes, Republicans, astroturf, greed, evangelists, and mean people. At some point in the future the light will begin to come on for more and more regular people, however. The devil in is what will happen between now and then. And some wonder why the current bunch in power is in such a hurry.
