Just exactly like 1968, and for that matter 1789, when Denis Diderot and Voltaire and the other descendants of that idiot Rousseau lolled around in silk-lined 18th-century drawing rooms and speculated how best to inspire the hoi polloi to spill its own blood in the streets.
And yes, I hate those little cocksuckers, just like I saw through them in 1968 when they inspired people I loved to go get their heads cracked in Lincoln Park to disrupt the Chicago convention and get it blamed on the cops.
There has categorically never in the history of the world been a "spontaneous" demonstration that wasn't carefully planned and instigated by a very few people who had absolutely none of their own skin in the game. That little punk Billy Dohrn-Ayers woke up this morning with a diamond-cutter hardon over the memory of getting to throw one last tantrum on the living-room floor of his imagined parents.

One of the greatest sounds at any Leftist protest is the hollow thunk of batons on skulls and the 'ooff' of air escaping when a baton end pokes a solar plexus.
Hell, it is far better than the smell of napalm in the morning; I've smelled that too.
If the anti-protesters decided to invade the campi and fuck up a boat load of pointy headed gown wrapped panty wearing Lefty types, great, why not, they can use a short trip down memory lane to revisit what they support.

They are spoiled rich kids that love chaos and never suffer the consequences for their actions. I just hope this time, when it gets out of control, someone will pick off a few of their leaders. Kidnapping judges, shotguns and machine guns, protesters massing by the thousands, takeovers of federal buildings (big time ). Freeways shut down, not just NG, but army call-ups in the streets. I just think that most youngsters these days don't know what the extent of all of that BS in the Sixties was.

I remember the uproar at Yale associated with the trial of Bobby Seale in May 1970. I had moved to New Haven that spring before starting graduate school in the fall, and it was startling to see lines of National Guardsmen standing at arms around the perimeter of the Old Campus as well as guarding the courthouse. In the event, however, the only injury suffered by an undergrad resulted from running face-first into a telephone pole while playing frisbee.
Nowadays, of course, the undergrads have more important matters to riot about, such as politically incorrect Halloween costumes and the rape culture perpetuated by the Yale basketball team. Yes, those of us who lived through the Sixties aren't impressed by the current crop of pampered malcontents.
