What do you do? You put those people to work. You put them to work by removing the barriers to work currently in place. You put them to work by placing an emphasis on salable skills and teaching qualities desirable in potential employees.

The advantage to this? Instead of spending tax money on them, you get tax money out of them. The greater the exployment rate among youth, the more tax money you'll get for other projects. Everybody wins!

Pat Condell for President! I know, I know... He's not a citizen, but I'm not so sure about the one we have now--at least he sure doesn't act like one.

I watched one of his other recent rants where he was proclaiming 'violence is never the answer'. It seems that he has come to the realization that in many cases violence is a perfectly acceptable answer. Good for him. However, the part where self-defense is an unalienable right that should not be usurped by the state still seems to escape him, despite him realizing that the state is incompetent, bureaucratic and does not have the security and safety of its citizens as a high priority.
Also Pat Condell has a virulent hatred of all things religion and interprets separation of church and state as 'all religious persons and organizations should be treated as second class citizens'. He produces some fine rants, but seems otherwise stuck in a statist mindset.

So Pat, seeing as how you're a person of ruthless logic, how is it you can't make the utterly obvious link between all this and the fall of Christianity, which was the underpinning of the previous civilization in England for a 1000 years

And if a militant anti-Christianity is absolutetly fundamental to the mindset of the people you so utterly despise, how can you be so militant about Christianity yourself -- especially when most Christians are in complete agreement with you on everything (except when you go off on one of your awful atheistic rants, of course)

Callmelennie, Pat has actually tempered his anti-christian rhetoric over the last few years. Not a whole lot, but the lightening up is there if you've been watching him for ages.

He speaks openly, and fearlessly which is what we need in these times, and if it means that as a christian I have to put up with the occasional spray from him, I can do that.

Some of the best people at christian apologetics I know are confirmed atheists. Give him time to get over that, and just pray he keeps on educating us all.

Well I don't know if its just Americans that are commenting on Mr Condell but as a British Citizen I think he speaks for the great majority of the British people.

These vermin are exactly that. The majority are black or mixed race that we unfortunately let into the UK over the years. Have you heard them talk, they can hardly string a few words together and where did they get that accent from. I will tell you, they are just copying the black criminals and thugs on the other side of the Atlantic.

The whole damn lot should should be left to rot. And the sad thing is, it can only get and will get worse.
