"Okay, Here's Our Plan. Any Questions?"

"We have ruled the world before, and by Allah, the day will come when we will rule the entire world again. The day will come when we will rule America. The day will come when we will rule Britain and the entire world -- except for the Jews. The Jews will not enjoy a life of tranquility under our rule, because they are treacherous by nature, as they have been throughout history. The day will come when everything will be relived [likely relieved -EV] of the Jews -- even the stones and trees which were harmed by them. Listen to the Prophet Muhammad, who tells you about the evil end that awaits Jews. The stones and trees will want the Muslims to finish off every Jew." -- Sheik Ibrahim Mudeiris

Well, at least we can't say we weren't warned.

I appreciate the heads-up, but then, as Jews all over the world ask as questions on Passover (the night of the Last Supper) "Ma nish tanaw ha lylaw hazeh..." or "Why is this night different from all other nights?"

Might want to warn them back, in the words of Kinky Friedman -- "They ain't makin' Jews like Jesus anymore/we don't turn the other cheek, like we done before."

Doesn't matter if it's Ahmed or Friedrich or Sir Robert or Carlos or Jacques or Vladimir or Stosh or Billy Bob -- same old same old.

I'm a frequent reader of AMERICAN DIGEST. I'm Portuguese, (therefore I apologise in advance for the grammar mistakes I’ll be writing on this comment) and over here the population is mostly Christian. Fortunately, we have neither religion problems nor terrorism in our country. But we do fear extremists, obviously. One day I was offered "The Noble Qu'Ran". While I was reading the FIRST page, I was admired with what I've seen in line 6 and 7: "Guide us through the Straight Way. The Way of those on whom You [Ala] have bestowed Your Grace, not of those who earned Your Anger (such as the Jews), nor of those who went astray (such as the Christians)" It's a nice beginning, don't you think? When you start off like this, I wonder if there will ever be a solution for this conflict. I'm not really a man of faith, but those who are should be working together. Or else, very soon, there'll be no faithful man alive. Keep up the good writing.

You should know (to be fair) that those little parenthetical phrases about "the Jews" and "the Christians" aren't in the original text. (I have heard, though I don't know whether it's true, that Wahhabi missionaries give out a modified version of the Koran with such phrases inserted, and you might have been given one of those.)
