Slightly more seriously, there is a cult that makes those of Cthulhu and Nyarlathotep the Crawling Chaos seem benign. And it's quite a big cult; around a billion of them.

If you lookup "R'lyeh" in Google Maps, you either get a location in the South Pacific with accompanying Lovecraftian text in Polish, or Elk Grove, California— about a mile from my house, a location I pass all the time.
