What a treat. Thanks.

This guy's playing is wonderful, and especially the humor coming through his Gershwin quotes in S'Wonderful (or S. Wonderful, as Matt Lauer would have it.) The first appearance of the Rhapsody in Blue theme knocked me out.

I gotta tell you, though.....that NPR chick gives every appearance of being a monster. My God, she's creepy.

Brrrrr.

I've got Ethan saved to MyFavorites and listen to the 12 or so YouTube songs he's got up. My favorite is "You're The Cream in My Coffee."

Another great younger-yet ragtime pianist is Adam Swanson, who started winning national ragtime piano festivals at 16. "Canadian Capers" is one I can listen to all day long!
