The Fermi Paradox:

Although it's uncertain how many grains of sand there are on Earth, and how many Earth-like planets there are, it's incontrovertible that Earth has been the Universe's dumping ground for the Stupids who govern us. Each individual Stupid is infinitely stupid -- this would please Georg Cantor the mathematician. So, as a group the Stupids make a pool of infinitely greater stupidity. Care for a swim?

If the universe was empty of life, except that which is on Earth, you need not see it as a colossal waste. I prefer to think of the Universe like tourists looking at the Taj Mahal. I see the Universe as the most opulent, creative, expansive, and luxurious mansion that an infinite God chose to give to one of his creatures.
