But food can not be or seem nauseous. It can, however, be nauseating.
I had a similar experience after apnea surgery: mayonnaise, which I previously rather liked, was revolting to me. That faded over time.

I type like that almost all the time.

As a cardiac nurse, I can only say that it does get better and getting back on the horse is the best medicine. The cardiac meds can mess with your mind and your energy levels and often need decreased.
I have not read what happened, but am piecing together a heart attack or lethal rhythm that required shock. Take your vitamins and may you have as many years as your mother has had.
