This is about the funniest thing I've seen - I'm still not sure if it's a parody or not.

It's vulgar.

But wait - there's more!

The words arrogance and hubris come to mind....

I will say that to this point, I abhor everything which comes from that man and his minions.

And that fake presidential seal and the "office of the president-elect" schtick......well that's just so.......*junior high*. You'd think his followers would be embarrassed.

Could I have a gold brick instead?

It's no parody; it's a real ad for a real product.

Saw this on a satelite feed into Missouri last weekend. Could not understand why they would be doing this there unless he is preparing the ground for his next run.

I haven't seen this commercial, but I've seen the 24KT Gold-Plated Barack Obama Coin Set, I think I prefer that. It will go well with my September 11th $20 commemorative coin certificate they've recently began advertising.

Dollars to donuts, they had a McCain plate all up and ready just in case McCain won. We'd be hearing a dozen reasons why we should be buying a McCain plate too.

Out of curiosity, I did a quick search on ``presidential commemorative plates'' and only found two: one each for Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon - and in each case the man himself was pictured in the center of the plate, completely surrounded by pictures of his predecessors.

The only references to a George Bush plate were mocking: there doesn't seem to be a real one. Even Clinton doesn't have one, and God knows that big old lug loves to be the center of attention.
So it looks like Barry's hit a new low, even for Democrats.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Seventh-grader who's just been elected president of the Student Council, and lets it go to his head.

Wow! If you look real close into Obama's eyes I swear you can see the haunting reflection of Monty Hall!

I believe that this was the previous plate series.

The best part about this piece of art is that, as the announcer notes, you don't need a special wall type to hang it on. You can hang it on ANY wall!

That's forward thinking.

I just can't wait to eat my thin barley gruel off of that beautiful piece of historic Americana, while I slowly freeze to death in my one-bedroom, unheated (and environmentally carbon neutral) apartment...as his '...confident smile and kind eyes' stare up through the watery, luke warm glaze, at my pinched, starving face...it'll be totally worth it!
