The Polar Bears Picnic

Now that global warming has been sent to its room for a ten-year time out, things are getting back to normal up north.

If you go out in the arctic today
You're sure of a big surprise.
If you go out in the actic today
You'd better go in disguise.

For every bear that ever there was
Will party there for certain, because
This decade's the decade the polar bears have their picnic.

Chorus:
Picnic time for polar bears,
The little polar bears are having a lovely time today.
Watch them, catch them unawares,
And see them picnic on their holiday.
See them gaily dance about.
They love to play and shout.
And never have any cares.
At six o'clock their mommies and daddies
Will put them all on ice
Because they're tired little polar bears.

If you go out on the ice today,
You'd better not go alone.
It's lovely out on the ice today,
But safer to stay at home.

For every bear that ever there was
Will gather there for certain, because
This decade's the decade the polar bears have their picnic.

Every polar bear that's been good
Is sure of a treat today
There's lots of wonderful seals to eat
And wonderful games to play

Beneath the ice, where nobody sees
They'll hide and seek as long as they please
This decade's the decade the polar bears have their picnic.

A masterpiece! You are truly the Hilaire Belloc of the modern age.

Where did you get the graphic? Love the penguin turning on the spit! LOL

Okay, in the interest of accuracy, I think that probably should have been a baby harp seal on the spit instead of a penguin.

(I'm going to Hell, aren't I?)
