'Believed to Be Russian Soldiers'

arussiansoldier.jpg

"Less than two weeks ago, after Ukrainian protesters appeared to have ousted President Viktor Yanukovych,

thousands of soldiers bearing no insignia or identifying marks began appearing in Ukraine's pro-Russian Crimean peninsula. Russian authorities deny that these men are invading Russian soldiers, instead describing them as "local self-defense forces" wearing uniforms available from army surplus centers. - - In Focus - The Atlantic

Looks like the "troops" have a nice welcoming party.

It is the "hot girl, cross legged perch".

I'm try into figure out when women started standing like this.

Any clues?

ladies legs crossed at ankles implies modesty and purity, Eve invented it.

Yah. El Polacko... It is the combination of high heels with tight tight pants/jeans. The tight jeans are incredibly uncomfortable to begin with (I'm a girl) and the heels absolutely pivot the body forward. When the constriction and discomfort of the jeans combine with the forward leaning forces of the heels... it's just really hard to stand up. Or else they all need to pee. That's the other unfortunate sensation inherent in wearing too tight jeans.

How do we know they're girls. Might be tourists from San Francisco.

No way that those guys are 'local self defense forces' Anybody who paid attention to the Russian invasion of Georgia saw, at the time, how rat-bag the actual Russian soldiers looked. And the thing was, the Russians themselves noticed.

Since then, they've actually cleaned up their act. Those guys are regulars.

I want to see what happened after this picture was taken. Did the two young ladies go up and talk to the soldiers? Did they tuck a flower in their web gear (or even barrel)? With no officers in evidence, I reckon those soldiers would welcome the diversion.

"Hi, soldier. Buy me a drink?" It's universal, no matter the uniform.

Any discussion about the "peoples' militia" excuse has to explain the APCs and helicopters.

You've been taken for fools!
The uniformed masked soldiers are Ukrainian defense forces, masked against the cold. The 'apparent' women are the Russian invaders -- their weapons?, clearly the stiletto heels for stabbing back and belly, and soft boots for stomping the soldiers to death without leaving bruises!!

Get smart! Get tart! Or as the Russkies would say, "Moscow! Gives more milk than Pa's cow."
