What the Eagle Sees

I think the dream of flight is as old as man.
Beg to differ. This is not what an eagle sees. Can you make out a squirrel or rabbit in the bush he's flying over? Spot any fish down below? See any prey items? This is what a human sees if he were on the back of an eagle.
My ex husband designed the first prone hang glider. I have jumped off a cliff at Torrey Pines in California, and, it looked very much like that view. It even sounded like that. Incredible. (I only needed to do it once.)
Sad to think, all that spectacular scenery, and the bird's entire focus is finding a tasty rodent scurrying through the grass.
There's a lesson in there.
Lately, I guess the last thing any of them see are the rotating knife-like blades of a wind farm.
