Don Surber: President Trump has a mandate

After he clinched the nomination, things got rocky on occasion. I was ready to throw in the towel a dozen times, but readers were there for me. And I trust I was there for you when you thought things looked bleak. In the end, we knew the polls were baloney, just as biased as the reporters and editors. We did not let them dissuade or discourage us. On Tuesday, the people spoke. Michael Moore was right. It was the biggest F*** You in history. It was the bird flip seen around the world.

Does anyone know when Whoppi and Rosie are leaving?

I want to go wave bye bye.

"Dewey..uhhhh..HILLARY WINS"
Or not.
KEK be praised!

I'm not gonna lie, I did not think that this was possible. Someone finally slayed the gorgon.

Posted by: Mumblix_Grumph at November 9, 2016 4:14 AM

True, the only thing harder than failure is success. We're up to it,though. Feel like a 900 lb gorilla just fell off my back. My brother does too,he's an FFL. Fully expect these Asshats to do a big fat FU to all of us on their way out,but for now,it's nice to breathe the clean air once more.

I was showing my 15 year old son the picture of "Dewey Wins," and trying to make sure he understood you needed the last electoral votes to win.

Now he might grow up to get a job! And, I pray, avoid serving in a war.

Breathing a bit easier this morning...

I am looking forward to a great nights sleep, finally.

Also, I wonder what the real vote count was. Will Soros/obozo release their black goons in the big cities.

Stricken Hillary supporters wept in open disbelief at the Clinton election gathering
last night. The question on everyone’s mind seemed to be, “How could so many people have rejected a cracked-brain, decrepit bisexual hag who’s under constant criminal investigation? It’ll be years before we capture the Ovary Office!”

The news was so good, I had to roll over and smoke a cigarette.

And I don't smoke cigarettes.

I'm glad we have Trump for president. But fucking moron Californians just voted to ban grocery bags, tax cigarettes an extra couple of bucks per pack, increase taxes, further restrict gun rights, permit non-English only instruction in schools, and we turned a sweet medical marijuana system over to the greed of state taxation. Worse, nanny state regulations will now govern what was once a pretty free market. Oh- but porn stars don't have to wear condoms. So there's that...
Nice going assholes.

@jwm, regarding gov't, the more things get better the more they get worse, because the underlying premise is flawed - hiring others to do that which you are unwilling to do yourself.

Perhaps in the distant future people will decide they will no longer bear the overwhelming and unnecessary weight of criminal parasites. Perhaps.

All the tears for Hill showed that this was a huge kitsch event for Democrats; to invest in politics such emotion has more than a tinge of the phony; O the self-drama, O the hurt...I'd like to think that if Trump had lost his supporters would give out dry-eyed hugs and then roll up their sleeves and get to work. Our faith should be in our system, in ourselves not in personalities...anyway...whew...

It's Wednesday and it's take out the trash day.

Coincidence?

JWM,
Keep an eye on CA. Los Angeles and San Diego are near bankrupt. All their goodies, freebies, trains to nowhere will sink the major cities, then the state. They are continuing to shape their utopia, but it is running out of money. They will raise taxes to pay for the debt and business and tax paying workers will flee the state. It will implode, looking like a large scale Detroit, Venezuela, Argentina, Cuba or fill in the blank for the third world shit-hole of your choosing.

The bad element is that this liberal pukes move to other states and bring their worthless politics with them. Look at Colorado...

Last night I was prepared for the worst and when I brought my son back from Boyscouts I poured a large glass of wine to watch the news and see how bad it was. By 8PM Central Time it was looking like Donald was going to do better than also-ran. Once he took FL, OH and NC I could see the route was on. That cheap box wine tasted pretty damn good last night. Some senior management at work are big Hillary supporters so there were quite a few convert fist bumps and quiet laughs today. No need to gloat anyway.

I'll be more than happy to be rid of the Clinton's in the news for a while. Invariably we will end up enduring Chelsea running for Senate at some point. The Clinton's are like Bermuda grass.Vile, ugly and you can spray it with herbicides to kill it, but it tends to come back.

Sorry to drone on, but I am still enjoying this moment. It has been too long.

Snakepit, here in California many of us are still drinking deeply of those sweet, sweet hippie tears...
A long night, but a fabulous ending.
Except for all of the shit the hippies were able to pass here in our state.
As for the liberals moving "to other states and bring(ing) their worthless politics with them", how do you think that California got fucked up??
Remember who gave the USA Ronald Reagan?
Before the late 60's this state was as patriotic as any, from WWII through Korea and Vietnam, the gateway to the Pacific and route home for many of our Soldiers...
The hippies, then the gays came here, and the rest of the carpetbaggers that followed.
Nancy Pelosi?
Born in Baltimore.
Babs Boxer?
New York.
Tom Steyer?
Manhattan.
Zuckerberg?
White Plains NY.
I could keep going, but hopefully you get the picture...
I wish all the rest of the states could take back their fucking refuse, and give us our state back.

Parasites seek a host, always. It's in their DNA/RNA. They're using Silicon Valley to identify newer, better host areas.

Can you imagine? President Trump - after the inauguration but before the spectacular, like-the-White-House-has-never-seen Inaugural Ball - in the Oval Office, pulling out the pages of the defunct Obama's paper-and-pen-tiger's legacy - his Executive Orders - and ripping them in half, declaring them null and void.....
THAT would be some good TV...Saturday afternoon, the day before the AFC- and NFC Championship games...the perfect final seal of disapproval to the destructive Obama.

Posted by: tomaig at November 9, 2016 6:24 PM

Before too long the urban infiltrators to rural areas will become "missing" never to be seen again.

They shit all over themselves and everything around them, nasty motherfuckers that they are. The best dressed ones are the worst. They destroy an area with their forced gov't reforms, can't stand what they've done, then move on leaving the others to contend with the damage.

Posted by: ghostsniper at November 9, 2016 7:26 PM

As an aside, today I saw over 80 copies of this preparatory issue of Newsweek celebrating Madame President's coronation for sale on eBay, and the one which I put on my watch list (so I can reference it quickly for my own nefarious purposes) ended up selling for over $200!!!! Plus shipping! Not sure if the seller was a supporter, or a gloater, or Newsweek itself, in a flagrant attempt to fluff up their bottom line. When it comes down to it, I DON'T CARE. Well, actually, I do hope it was not Newsweek. I don't want them making ANY $$$, enemies of America and the American Way that they are.
