I hate to say this, but it also made me think of an alternate version where a guy dressed in a dishdasha rings the doorbell and, when it opens, says to the kid, "Hello, I am your Uncle Abdul. These are mny seven wives and my 28 children. Nice house you have there."

Children do not inherit the sins of their parents. They start out as angels from Heaven (although God has already gifted them with their own personalized life-long bag of **** to endure). And there's usually some room in that bag reserved for enduring the consequences of their parents' sins.

Wonder if the kid speaks English?

Reminds me of my grandfather, who said he didn't speak a word of English when he got off the boat at Ellis Island as a young man. But he already spoke Polish, German, and Russian, so English was just another language to pick up and learn, which he did. It was a matter of pride for him that he spoke it fluently.

In the last five years I've been seeing white men with black wives. It's interesting because they usually seem to be geeky IT guys or engineers. Not good looking but high earners and quiet. The women are usually plain but quiet and practical. Neither then men or women in these couples are in high sexual demand in their own group so rather than pine away for what they can't have, they seem to be choosing happiness elsewhere.

I've seen this, too. A good friend of mine has a son who fits your description perfectly, as does his wife. They're nice people, seem content with each other, and appear to be making their way in the world. They both work, pay their bills & taxes, own a home, and have a circle of friends that they socialize with. Doesn't sound like a horrible life to me.
