Hey, there's a hell of a good universe next door. Let's go.

I stopped at the selfie stick.

I miss being young, but I am glad I was able to do that!

That was a nice way to start the day!

I have photos of my kids doing the same things. Even the gainer off the cliff. I love it.

FUN. It's what we do.

Ah, to be young and bulletproof.

While I was never that adventurous, I did my share of stupid things when I was younger. But then age, and perhaps some wisdom creeps up on you.

About 15 years ago an acquaintance rolled a car and was left as a quadraplegic. He was in his 50's at the time. No one is prepared for something like that. Anyway, I visited him in the rehab hospital, and it was there that my acquaintance pointed out a 20-something on the other side of the room. This guy was better off than my acquaintance...."only" a paraplegic. He had gone over the handlebars of his mountain bike. The practical point of his injury meant that at 23 or so, he had had the last erection of his life.

I'm sure that those videos are as fun to produce as they are to watch. But occasionally someone does get hurt doing these things.

Have fun, but be careful too.

Azlibertarian, life is risky. Getting out of bed is a risk. None of us is guaranteed any amount of security, and those who think they are, are have no fun at all. I say, live your life while you can. Take the slings and arrows and make the memories.

Fun!! Better than any water slide at a park! That last jump, though, looked pretty scary. Just a foot or so in the wrong direction and it could have been a couple broken legs. We used to climb out on a tree limb above the lower falls on the Deschutes river next to the Olympia beer plant in order to make the jump over the falls. I bet they've got a chain link fence around it now -- or they cut the tree down.
