Don't Give Up

Don't give up. You know it's never been easy.

"November 2012 was not a defeat. It was a loss in a close election that rattled the Democrats by showing just how much of the country had turned on their savior.

It was a rebuke to Obama's mismanagement of the country and the economy over the last four years..... The country did not repudiate us. The majority of Americans did not pledge allegiance to some rotten post-American country. The majority stayed home. And that is damning, but it's also comforting because these are the people we have to win over. They don't believe in Obama, but they don't believe in us either. They don't believe in politics because it isn't relevant to their lives." -- Sultan Knish: Don't Give Up

There's no giving up.
It's about making sure my kids are brought up American, and speaking out against the lies of the left, every chance I get.
The Sultan's got a very glass-half-full view, but I think that no matter how disenchanted we are with the republican "conservatives", staying home in disgust on election day was a form of surrender. The damage done in the last 4 years may be peanuts to these next 4, and beyond...

Yes, well, one of the Greeks pointed out that you may not be interested in politics, but politics is interested in you.

Like Hell it's not relevant to their lives. I wish this weren't so. I'm embarrassed to have to make the assertion, because it's a clear admission that the Left has successfully alienated the population from a belief in stability, the idea that the system of self-rule bequeathed to us will continue in our lifetimes.

The Constitution is not for the Left. They don't like it, don't want it, and only pretend to respect it for just as long as it takes to make it a dead letter. It was a mistake to play fair with the Left for the past hundred or so years. A fatal historical bungle, but we will be the only ones to realize this. The history is going to be written and taught by the Left.

Mike James, the left has long been writing and teaching history...THEIR version. It has much to do with the voter apathy and/or ignorance that has placed us in this horrible predicament.

I still want to know why someone at the back of the ballroom didn't shout "Benghazi" last night when the Messiah was in full flood about his role as "Commander-in-Chief". Coward-in-Chief is more appropriate. "Impeachment NOW!" might also have stemmed his bullshit. Are you folks gonna let him get away with it? Even Fox and the gang seem to have abandoned the chase. When does the concussed cow have to face the music? Or has her doctor given her a permanent sick-note? The sands of time and the sands of Libya seem to have settled it already. Shame. The Muslim Bros are rampant, their game-plan is unfolding as declared a couple of decades ago and your Coward-in-Chief is aiding and abetting them, along with our own prick aka Prime Minister, alleged conservative, David Cam-moron whose head is up the fundobament and who takes counsel from from Anita Dunne.

We are a' doomed!

We need to make it harder to register to vote, harder to vote too.

Voting isn't something that should be allowed by absentee ballot unless the person is going to be out of the country.

No motor voter registering. You want to vote, make it so that effort has to be exerted. Require a trip to the village clerk, produce proof and sign up.

It probably will reduce the number of ballots cast; that won't be a bad thing. The low information voter will pass up the opportunity. That doesn't bother me in the least; it is too important to leave to the lazy.

Oh, come on. It was a loss. We lost the most important election in modern times, and it has changed this country forever. Grow up guys. We LOST. It's OVER.
