Boulder Colorado Flood Cleanup

and hope to improve on:

Say, shouldn't you people be out looting or something? Waiting for a morbidly obese governor to hand you a check? Getting your stories straight for your fraudulent insurance claim? Shouldn't you be waiting outside for FEMA to do that? Waiting for Brownie to come and do a heckuva job? Asphyxiating yourselves by running a generator indoors? Guarding your stash of non-perishable food by brandishing semi-automatic weapons at everyone that passes by? What the hell's wrong with these people?

I shudder to think of what hell will befall the first mainstream pundit to contrast the Coloradoans reaction to this days of rain, historic, unforseeable flooding scenario to the reaction in New Orleans to a one day, well forecast, evacuation-order-in-place scenario.

Outside of Taki's mag, I don't think a single outlet will dare posit what might account for the differences.

...and, yes, one does not just walk in.

One knocks on the door, and waits politely to be admitted, if the spirit so moves the Sip.

Reminds me of the big floods on Red River in ND a couple years back. Whole towns turned out including high schoolrrs to sand bag and cleanup after as usual every ten years or so. Napolitano and Fugate roll into two two weeks late and try to tell them to evacuate. Just got laughed at...
