Something Wonderful: And who shall wear the robe and crown? Good Lord, show me the way.

The great singers make it all seem so easy. Even acapella.

As I went down in the river to pray
Studying about that good old way
And who shall wear the starry crown
Good Lord, show me the way

O sisters let's go down,
Let's go down, come on down,
O sisters let's go down,
Down in the river to pray

As I went down in the river to pray
Studying about that good old way
And who shall wear the robe and crown
Good Lord, show me the way

O brothers let's go down,
Let's go down, come on down,
Come on brothers let's go down,
Down in the river to pray

As I went down in the river to pray
Studying about that good old way
And who shall wear the starry crown
Good Lord, show me the way

O sinners let's go down,
Let's go down, come on down,
O sinners let's go down,
Down in the river to pray

As I went down in the river to pray
Studying about that good old way
And who shall wear the robe and crown
Good Lord, show me the way

I freakin' HATE "original movie sound track" albums for the most part.
I DID go out of my way to get the CD of "O Brother Where Art thou?" The Sirens:"Didn't Leave Nobody But the Baby" was pretty good too.

Yeah one of the best movie soundtracks of all time, and a wonderful song by an angelic voice. Alison Krauss is proof of God's love.

Much as I love Alison Kraus, I really think they missed it with that arrangement. Where I learned it was from Doc Watson almost 50 years ago

That's what it sounded like in brush arbor meetings, where he learned it. Goosebumps.

One of my favorites I wish they would make an album.

I fall in love with that woman every time I hear this and see her sing it.
