But am I the only one that's noticed that Paul Murtaugh advertises his personal page as a "Microsoft Free Zone?"

I noticed the microsoft free thing as well, along with "Don't worry, be happy" for philosophy of life. The microsoft free thing is like running your Prius on used kitchen grease, and fermented human excrement to save the ecology, mimimize your energy footprint, and stick it to the Man while doing so.
I looked it up; it's very cool. You just punch in some tens of millions of 1's and 0's really really fast each second, and it turns into a web page. Once you learn the code it's a piece of cake.

As the defense program I work on gets cancelled, why can't I open a chain of Green euthanasia shops? There is obviously an unmet need here and the market will provide.

I'd have package deals ranging from wine, Vivaldi, curari and a nice warm narcotic overdose to a cup of koolaid and a nice warm bullet.

Afterwards, you can choose from a spiritual Native-American "Sky Burial"; an environmentally conscious "excarnation"; or simply a cheap "left outside in the yard".

Notice that they're not starting with themselves. If this is what they want, then they should set the example, do the right thing, and step in front of the first speeding bus they can find. I would then agree that the world would be a better place because of the thus-reduced population.

20-25 years down the road, septagenarians and older people who have contracted a serious but manageable disease will have been scratched off the triage/rationing lists of the national healthcare system to come.

I would advise such people to keep a concealed handgun in the bed somewhere so that when the people from the "clinic" wheel in the gurney to take you away, you can take out as many of them as possible. The inevitable SWAT team intervention will lead to your "suicide by cop."

Enough such incidents may wake up the rage in a whole lot of people, and the gurney crew won't even be able to make it to the oldster's house, much less get inside. Will the metrosexual, limp-dicked modern version of the "nazis" be willing to kill old people this way from behind a wall of armor and armaments?
