[Updated: No Invasion. India Relieved ] Obama to Invade India

us-navy-battleship-21.jpg

[Update: Alas, my hopes and dreams of an invasion of India and the decamping of Obama to declare himself emperor of that sub-continent has been cruelly debunked by the Wall Street Journal and those spoilsports @ Hot Air (No, Obama's not taking 34 Navy ships to India with him). I blame my foolish hopes and Indian mathematics!]

Not content with trying and failing to successfully invade the United States of America, it seems Barack Obama has evidently decided to tacke a crack at India. The latest uptick on his much touted $200 MILLION A FREAKING DAY vacation in the Raj, we now learn that the Navy is getting into the picture with 34 warships sent from US for Obama visit

New Delhi: The White House will, of course, stay in Washington but the heart of the famous building will move to India when President Barack Obama lands in Mumbai on Saturday.

Communications set-up and nuclear button and majority of the White House staff will be in India accompanying the President on this three-day visit that will cover Mumbai and Delhi.

He will also be protected by a fleet of 34 warships, including an aircraft carrier, which will patrol the sea lanes off the Mumbai coast during his two-day stay there beginning Saturday. The measure has been taken as Mumbai attack in 2008 took place from the sea.

Arrangements have been put in place for emergency evacuation, if needed.

"Emergency evacuation?" "if needed"

This whole India scam is Obama's personal emergency evacuation from his electoral Dunkirk of this Tuesday.

We sincerely hope he can restrain the urge to demonstrate his manhood by launching a nuclear strike on Nepal.

When the British began storming and occupying India big chunk by big chunk shortly after losing the American Revolution, I wonder if they spent the equivalent (in late 18th-century pounds sterling)? They probably used fewer than 34 warships per sortie, and 40,000 pounds sterling (the rough equivalent of $200 million today) was a serious sum in those days. Did they spend that much per day or campaign to conquer India?

What an imperial asshat our naked emperor is.

Loath as I am to induce any paranoia....

As has been widely noted, the September 11 attacks came on the anniversary of the Mohammedans' defeat at the gates of Vienna.

In Europe, as we all know, that date is styled "11/9", which date, in our terms, will see the "President" visiting a mosque in Indonesia - while the Homeland Security of Big Sis has been covering up the entry of thousands of "other than Mexicans" crossing our Southern borders for months. A significant date any way you slice it, if you're a historically minded megalomaniac.

Hang on to your hats, kids.

Interesting to note, too, Rob is that Chapter and verse in the Koran 9:111 urge the faithful to slaughter the infidels in order to see Paradise.

Any chance we can change the locks on the WH while he's gone?

This is driven by the Secret Service. They demand, they get. I have a little experience dealing with them when I was on a navy fleet staff.

Yes, I have to wonder whether he knows something we don't.

How convenient for an enemy to know where 34 of our warships will be all at once. How convenient for 34 of them to be unavailable to our side of the world in the event of some . . . event.

He's there to make the rounds to apologize once again, on the behalf of the American people, who clearly do not know what is good for them.

$200 MILLION A FREAKING DAY
Worth getting him out of the country, though.
