When I saw this picture, I had the same thought. Or more like, why doesn't someone teach these rubes how to get along in other countries. I thought she should have had a hat on just because it is the thing you do around the Queen. Worse, she went barelegged, no stockings, and in an outfit that looked good on a 10 year old in 1955.

Good garsh, Mooshelle's stylist must be working for our side! FLOTUS doesn't own a suit, poor dear. The whole purpose of one is that it is sturdy enough to meet any unforseen environment or suddenly inclement weather, and still look reasonably neat.

Plus, I saw better legs on Shackleford. Michelle's look like she was riding him at the Preakness.

Maybe she couldn't find a can of Aqua Net or some pantyhose in England.
Foreign country, and all

I give thanks I am not a woman. Tough business. But Mike does have to give a better effort, or stay at home like Mamie did.

Michelle, I appreciate the effort, but this really wasn't the right time to re-enact the subway scene from The Seven Year Itch.

Notice you never see Michelle and former NBA star Patrick Ewing at the same time/place? I'm just saying.

In all fairness, Michelle was on her way to a Monty-Python audition.

She is accustomed to being the provoker, not recipient, of a hair-raising experience.

Those bloody "winds of change" can be a bitch. I'm more embarrassed by her weighing down the presidential limo causing it to stuck and by the fact that neither of them have one iota of retention re: British protocol. The Obama Follies are so cringeworthy, so relentlessly humiliating that I'm tempted to feel sorry for the dope were he not such a shallow prick and his wife a conniving socialist "player". For crying out loud, I hope their handlers do let them go back to the UK until after 2012! I'm still cringe-sore from when he presented the Browns with cheap White House gift shop items and the queen an iPod with a playlist of his speeches.

I wouldn't put it past the White House Clown Show to be deliberately doing these gaffes in an attempt to lower our Country's stature.
The reality, of course, is that it reflects only on his boorishness, his mud hut upbringing and rank immaturity.

His half brother probably has a better grasp of protocol; certainly not to diminish himself and country in public.

Why would a woman with an ass the size of the back end of a commuter van wear a tiny bolero jacket that dramatically enhances her lower parts?

Whe dresses her, Stevie Wonder?

correction: hope handlers do NOT allow them to return to UK. (this photo should come with a warning label!)

Here's the 'after' picture of her hair, now newly set:

She has a hat. An asshat. His name is Barack.

But a nice, tasteful dress. I hope, for her sake, she has more of these.

I have no doubt that there are in the White House people who could advise the Obamas on matters of dress and deportment. I also have no doubt that neither B. nor M. have ever listened to any of their advice.
