Something Bizarre: Slide Walking? Japanese dancer Kazumi has the rather unique style of breakdancing/yoga and 'side-walking'.

I'm only showing you this so your mind will know to a dead certainty there are always new levels of bogglement...

"Oozing charm from every pore,
She oiled her way across the floor."

Note: It's not so much the "skill" as the fixed smile that's the scariest part,

Why do I think of one of those robot vacuum cleaners as I watch this? What a performer ... must be a labia of love!

As a long-time martial arts practitioner, I'm used to seeing flexible people. I'm still pretty limber myself, even though I'm midway through my 50s. But this is just sick. She makes it look so effortless, probably because, for her, it is.

A thing once seen cannot be unseen.

Does Japan have a problem with inbreeding?

Do they have hillbillies?

I'm referring to the goony nips on the sideline applauding her.

How do you say "megadork" in Japanese?

Don R, I don't know how familiar you are with Japanese game and variety shows, but they, like much of Japanese culture, are an entity unto themselves. Nothing quite like them anywhere else in the world. These shows seem to serve as some sort of outlet for a society of conformist salarymen, secretaries, and housewives. This is where the "goony nips", as you call them, can ditch their suits and ties and live out some of their fantasies in a harmless way.

I second what waltj says. The Japanese love their weirdness and strangeness. It's a release.

And yes, many Orientals are quite flexible. disturbingly so.
