"Notcees"

haha... okay...

Sorry that it took me so long to figure out that this was parody, but...

There are Liberals that are really this stupid.

I listen to podcasts, not live radio, and it has often been a big improvement over live radio of the same shows. I listen to about a 50/50 mix of conservative and NPR type shows.

One benefit I have noticed in the years of avoiding live radio in favor of podcasts of the same show is instant perspective/context for topics. A recent example of this was the radio book tour of Craig Whitney, author of Living with Guns: A Liberal's Case for the Second Amendment.

The author on several shows went on and on about the paranoia of The Right and the dishonesty of the NRA in using fear of liberal's gun-control to raise funds and keep the base stoked up for more fund-raising to benefit the pro-gun groups. He argued the NRA and many on the right know taking away people's guns is not what The Left want and yet the NRA keep telling the base this is a real threat and why you must send money to the NRA. The author was making this book tour just days before the CT school shooting and before The Left unleashed it's gun-control agenda, again.

BTW, I am just starting to see limited amounts of AR-15s come back into stock. If you obsessively monitor online gun store inventory you can get a new AR for yourself. If you need ammo your best bet is a local gun store. I think by Summer we may see more normal inventory levels and prices declining from the hysteria levels.

You should however, oppose vigorously any politician that votes in favor of any change in gun laws. The RINOs seem intent on passing "universal background checks." If you tolerate any change in federal gun laws thinking it will keep The Left from criticizing you on the topic you are a damn fool and deserve to be their slave.

I heard a line today that "Senator Feinstein is all a-twitter" and had to agree; isn't she just...

OMG, that guy in the video is soooo hot! Like, WOW. He said something about guns, he HATES guns. That is way cool. Guns are evil because they make you want to kill people. Make love, not war ... Peace out!

Was that a satire? I quit at 1:16, could not take the unadulterated bullshit any longer. If it was a satire, I apologize for this outburst.

Yes. It is a complete over the top dead pan satire.

I feel for you, Roger in Republic. In what passes for the modern world, it can be difficult to tell the front page news from some bit of nonsense from The Onion or ScrappleFace. How can you tell over-the-top satire from an analysis piece by some talking baboon on CNN? Is the latest warning about the planet-destroying effects of Global Warming(tm) based on science or mockery?

In this case, based on phrases like "French Crusaders invading Egypt with bags of sternly worded letters" and the "statistics" Matt quotes, I'm going going with satire. But as I said, it can be hard to tell. The UN is big on sternly worded letters, for example, but they have not (yet) invaded Egypt.
