Unhappy Hipsters: My Current Most-Favored Drive-By

Not since Stuff White People Like was actually funny has a site fulfilled my sardonic needs so regularly as Unhappy Hipsters.

Where else can you get items like this:

Each night they sat closer to the windows, to better luxuriate in the knowledge that their’s was the most wonderful converted underpass in all the land.

Okay, actually I think that this is a pretty cool house. I know that's not the point of the site's post, but let's face it: this is a pretty cool house.

Not bad. Not bad at all. I like it.

Yea, like others have said, I think it's cool.

I see it has a lawn on top. That's a good place for a lawn, right?

I don't get it - they have the most hi-tech doublewide in the park?

I have had some experience of these hipster dwellings. Those who think it's impossible to freeze to death in Sydney's climate have not experienced what hipsterism and starchitecture can achieve together.

Those who love intrusion, glare and vibration will be instantly at home. Objections to the stupendous waste of money and resources can be easily rebuffed by showing the feebleness of the enviro-toilet - which won't flush that one last green pea.
