Well gosh with only 30 million f@cking illegals in our country right now what could go wrong?

Go watch the BBC documentary, yeah I know BBC, called "Enoch Powell - British Hero." It's only 1 hour long, in 6 parts. It shows the UK Left knowingly and deliberately brought in a flood of the most foreign peoples to replace the English and change the country to better suit the politicians. At the end you have many of the Leftists prominent in leading the charge FOR immigration admitting they ignore the warnings and great harm has happened to the country.

I am all for legal and organized immigration. My wife came here from the Philippines. She was screened for health, any possible criminal history and required to study for and pass a test regarding our laws and history. She works and has an engineering degree.... I suspect most Americans would support that type of immigration. Plus she loves Clint Eastwood movies, guns, Conservatives and speaks perfect English.

This open borders crap isn't the same thing.

I'm definitely in favor of legal immigration. For the most part, I think we have lucked out with Hispanic immigrants versus what they are getting in Europe. We have a lot of Eastern Europeans in the PNW and they seem to have intact families and try to succeed.

I am not in favor of open borders or taking in those with no skills. People that have not paid taxes should not be eligible for tax refunds. I am especially opposed to sneaking people into the country and setting them up in various locations. People who are here illegally should be deported.

All of this is common sense stuff that most of us agree on. Why do we allow those in power to do this to us?

There is a case before the Supreme Court right now. The government cannot even say how many non-citizens are living here! That's insane.

If it were up to me I would say that everyone must reasonably prove their U.S. citizenship in order to be residents. Fingerprint and deport those who are verifiably non-citizens with no right to be here. Deal with the rest on a case-by-case basis. I just do not buy the argument that "We can't do that, there are too many of them." We can always expand legal immigration.

Now would also be a perfect time to issue 'Right To Vote' cards. Not ID cards; 'Right To Vote' cards would be a privelege to possess. No one would be forced to have one. That would put them in great demand. Everyone would want one.

At the same time, we could make honest voting easy. A PIN number would assure that each person gets one vote, and that vote (not how they voted, but whether they voted) could be seen by anyone with an internet connection. That info is already public knowledge, so what's the problem?

It would also allow for online voting, which would take away the argument that we must have a voting month (instead of Election Day). That would eliminate the rampant illegal voting in different states by the same person.

I would also eliminate dual citizenship. Either pledge allegiance to America, or get out. Simples, no? You cannot serve two masters. Or two countries.

If I said those things publicly, I would probably be accused of hate speech — by the same people who hate America.

Down around my place, thirty miles north of the border, we don't have problems with Hispanics.
Half our county's population is Hispanic, three, four generations, land owners, Farmers & ranchers. A dairy farm with two thousand cows, ranches a few sections big, etc.
They don't want the illegals that cause trouble any more than anyone else does. Some of the "Meskins" a term of endearment, not a racial slur, are in Law Enforcement and I have a hunch they and some of the influential farm & ranch guys talk to the illegals, like "Don't let the sun set on you here".
Before there was Big Government, before there were states and railroads these folks kept the peace quite well, thank you.

I don't.
Did you?
If you did then you should know the answer to your question.

Aw, this was an exceptionally nice post. Spending some time and actual effort to generate a great article… but what can I say… I
put things off a lot and never seem to get nearly
anything done.
