Something Rich and Strange: Saw Hero

Sippican Cottage: I Set Up A Web Camera To Document The Building Of My Last End Table

As you can see from the screen capture thumbnail, three of the fingers on my hands are webbed. Comes in handy when I'm trying to hold on to screws while using my cordless drill. It's not supposed to be cordless, I just cut the cord off accidentally when I was using the chop saw; but those buggers are expensive, so I keep using it that way.

Handle lumber that way around a saw and soon he'll have neither webs nor fingers.

40 (or so) years in the trade of fabrication of
multi media "stuff". Most of it by removing or otherwise "lying to", the pesky extra expense stuff, required by law, "for your safety", that simply got in the way.
10 fingers, 10 toes, (a few scars), and I can STILL write my name in the snow.
I HAVE patched up, transported, and seen the scars from quite a few "SURE I know what I'm doing, I'm in the UNION" folks.

Now, there IS a "theory" concerning sharpening a (non carbide) saw circular saw blade by installing it backward, and using a steel file, standing on the wrong side of the table.
The sad part is, it makes perfect sense.
